Liu Zhigang, Ph.D., an alumnus of Grade 1981 of Jinzhou Medical University, is the vice-president of Tianjin TEDA International Cardiovascular Hospital. He was once the former deputy-director of Pediatric Cardiac Surgery Center of Beijing Fuwai Cardiovascular Hospital, National Center for Cardiovascular Diseases. He used to be the visiting professor of Cardiac Surgery at the Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine of University of Hong Kong School, Cardiovascular Surgery and Cardiovascular Research Institute of Grantham Hospital, Columbus Children’s Hospital of Ohio State University, Harvard Medical School, Boston Children’s Hospital and Brigham and Women’s Hospital. He now is a standing committee member of Cardiovascular Surgery Branch of Chinese Medical Doctor Association and of Chinese Society of Severe Heart Diseases.
