Shi Bingyi, an alumnus of Grade 1972 of Jinzhou Medical University, was the director of the Organ Transplantation Institute of the People’s Liberation Army 309 Hospital. He used to be vice-chairman of Organ Transplantation Society of Chinese Medical Association, vice-chairman of Organ Transplantation Society of Chinese Doctors’ Association, head of the National Kidney Transplantation Group, and director of Organ Transplantation Branch of Beijing Medical Association. He was entitled to Special Government Allowance of the State Council. He was a member of 10th National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference and a member of the International Association for Urinary Flow Control (ICS); he had long been engaged in clinical and basic research of urology and organ transplantation, and was one of the academic leaders in the field of organ transplantation in China. Professor Shi Bingyi passed away in August 5, 2022.
