Modern Industrial School of Health Management of Jinzhou Medical University was formerly known as the School of Public Basics of JZMU. In 2022, in order to accelerate the construction and development of new medical science, the Modern Industrial School of Health Management was built officially by JZMU and takes the combination of medical industry and science as its main development direction. There is one undergraduate major in intelligent medical engineering and there are six teaching and research offices including Department of Computer Network & IOT Engineering, Department of Visual Intelligence & Media, Department of Artificial Intelligence & Data Analysis, Department of Basic Physics, Department of Medical Physics and Department of Mathematics. There are two experiment centers, Physics Experiment Teaching Center and Computer Experiment Teaching Center. There are 40 teaching laboratories with an area of about 3,790 square meters.
The school currently has 41 full-time teachers, 6 professors, 18 associate professors, 14 lecturers, 3 teaching assistants, 6 doctors (including students) and 43 master's, including 24 senior professional titles, 37 master's degrees or above. One teacher was selected into "Million Talents Project" in Liaoning Province, and there is one First-Class Course for undergraduate students in Liaoning Province. There is one major in intelligent medical engineering, and there are currently 28 undergraduates in the school.
The school iskeeping on strengthening the development of 3 new medical research directions: artificial intelligence & medical Imaging, artificial intelligence and biological intelligence & biological data analysis, artificial Intelligence & drug research and development. The school undertakes 1 national project and 11 provincial and ministerial projects, with a total cost of more than 120,000 yuan.The school aims at having more than 10 scientific research papers published, including 3 SCI articles, 7 articles in core level-three journals, and 2 textbooks edited as the editor or subeditor.
