The Third Clinical Medical School (The Third Affiliated Hospital) of JZMU was founded in August 1922 and is the first "Internet hospital" in western Liaoning. After a century of continuous development and growth, it has developed into a large-scale comprehensive tertiary first-class hospital integrating medical treatment, scientific research, teaching, first aid, prevention, health care, rehabilitation and other functions. The hospital has 3 experts with Special Allowance from the State Council, 1 outstanding scientific and technological worker in the country, 1 advanced worker in the national health system, and 1 backbone talent in inheriting clinical characteristic technology in traditional Chinese medicine. There are 165 senior professional and technical personnel.
The Hospital has three major centers of JZMU: ophthalmic center, metabolic center, rehabilitation medical center. Ophthalmology department, rehabilitation department, gynecology department and hematology department, of which are all the key clinical construction specialties in Liaoning Province; It has the Liaoning key laboratory for prevention and treatment. The hospital has 34 teaching and research offices and 5 teaching platforms, focusing on cultivating high-quality medical talents for "double first-class ".
