The School of Marxism is a second-level teaching and scientific research unit of Jinzhou Medical University. Its predecessor was founded in the Marxist-Leninist Teaching and Research Office of Jinzhou Medical College in 1958, and the School of Marxism was established in December 2014. The following are the six 6 teaching and research offices: Basic Principles of Marxism, Marxism In China, and The Outline of Modern and Contemporary History of China, Ideological Morality and Rule by Law, Situation and Policy, Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era.
The school currently has 43 faculty and staff, 38 full-time science teachers, 9 professors, 13 associate professors and 15 lecturers; 11 doctors, 6 doctorates and 26 master's degrees. Among them, there are 2 experts from the Liaoning Philosophy and Social Sciences Expert Database, 1 expert from the discipline evaluation team of the Liaoning Philosophy and Social Sciences Achievement Award, 2 outstanding young teachers of ordinary colleges and universities in Liaoning Province, 1 pacesetter of ideological and political theory courses in colleges and universities in Liaoning Province, and one outstanding ideological and 2 political theory teachers in ordinary colleges and universities in Liaoning Province.
The School of Marxism is mainly responsible for the teaching tasks of the ideological and political theory courses of undergraduates and graduate students, as well as the postgraduate training of the master's degrees of Marxist basic principles and ideological and political education.
Advocate morality and learning, and practice innovation. In the new era, under the correct leadership of the party committee of the university, the School of Marxism worked hard by adhering to the following concepts for our school: the political legislative theory, the system construction, the science and education, and the talent strength, it gradually formed a working atmosphere dedicated to studying, meticulous teaching, enthusiastic education and comfortable life, and insisted on the fundamental task of establishing morality and cultivating people, and strive to build the School of Marxism into a strong position for Marxist theoretical teaching, research, publicity and talent training!
