The continuing education work of Jinzhou Medical University began in 1980. As the second-level teaching unit of the university, relying on the advantages of the JZMU multidisciplinary coordinated development resources, it brings into full play to its geographical advantages as the only medical and health undergraduate college in western Liaoning. Up to now, the school has cooperated with 34 teaching bases, covering 14 cities in Liaoning Province and Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. The School of Training is a private non-enterprise unit organized by JZMU with non-state financial funds. It is an entity and social organization with independent legal representative status and engaged in public welfare education activities.
Its training work began in March 2010. It is the national medical English proficiency examination site, a workstation for the evaluation of skilled talents in the health industry in Liaoning Province, a training base for clinical coordinators ("CRC"), a entrepreneurship and employment training base for employees of Jinzhou Federation of Trade Unions, and a Jinzhou Human Resources and Social Security Bureau.
