Here We Come, Tibet!
On August 24th , at the notification of the Provincial Health Care Commission to set up a medical team, the First and the Third Affiliated Hospital of Jinzhou Medical University (JZMU) quickly set up a medical team of 46 doctors and nurses to join the medical team of Liaoning Province, aimed at helping Tibet to combat COVID-19 and strengthening the local epidemic prevention and control in order to save more lives.
As the leading hospital of the medical team, the First Affiliated Hospital of JZMU is responsible for the overall management of the makeshift hospital. Song Bing, vice-director of the hospital, was appointed deputy chief of the Liaoning Medical Team Assisting Tibet and director of the Makeshift Hospital in Lhasa .
The 46 medical staff came from the departments of cardiology, respiratory medicine, emergency, neurology, intensive care, radiology as well as ultrasound check, the clinical laboratory, and the center of electro-physiology. Based on their solid professional skills and rich practical experience, they will bring techniques gained during this severe fight against the pandemic to where they are needed.
