At 9:00 a.m., on December 9th , the JZMU-Wintec Joint Operation Meeting was held online. Zhu Xiaomei, Director of Office of International Exchange and Cooperation, Jinzhou Medical University (JZMU),Ma Zhuang, Dean of School of Sports and Exercise Rehabilitation, JZMU, Girish Nair, International Director of Waikato Institute of Technology (Wintec), together with 10 participants from both universities attended the meeting. The subject of the meeting is academic discussion on the Joint-teaching Programme of Sports Rehabilitation between JZMU and Wintec.
The meeting started with the introduction of JZMU, School of Physical Education and Exercise Rehabilitation, along with programme enrollment and operation, then focused on course mapping and discussion between JZMU and Wintec, followed by friendly negotiation on programme operation arrangements, such as training of JZMU’s teachers in Wintec, and the plan and arrangements for Wintec’s teachers to teach in China. Based on mutual understanding, trust and benefit, the two parties reached an agreement regarding the above-mentioned topics for discussion.
At the end of the meeting, both parties agreed that the approval and implementation of the joint programme in 2022 was the result of unremitting efforts of both parties. To maintain sustainable development of the program and meet new challenges, JZMU and Wintec would enhance regular communication and promote close collaboration to cultivate talents with global horizon and international competitiveness.
