On May 8th，“Announcement of National Health University on the First Batch” was realized by the Ministry of Education released the. JZMU was shortlisted in the list together with other 272 universities.
In April 2022, “Notice on the Implementation Plan of the National Health Universities” was issued by the General Office of the Ministry of Education, announcing that priority support would go to a group of eligible universities for the construction of national health universities. The Notice pinpointed 7 construction goals of fostering virtue through education, improving the governance system, enhancing students’ health awareness, perfecting the health education system, establishing a health monitoring and evaluation mechanism, improving campus health services and creating a healthy growth environment for students, from four aspects, namely basic conditions, governance capability, education and teaching as well as health promotion).
