On October 7th, Liu Kewu, Secretary of the Jinzhou Municipal Party Committee, and his delegation conducted on-site survey at the Binhai New Campus , JZMU to advance the construction of the new campus and its high-quality integration development of the university and Jinzhou. Wen Deliang, Chancellor of JZMU and Leader of the New Campus Construction Leading Group, Ding Weiguang, President of JZMU, Leader of the New Campus Construction Leading Group and the Chief Commander of the New Campus Construction, as well as Zhang Lijuan, Vice President of JZMU, Executive Deputy Leader of the New Campus Construction Leading Group and Deputy Chief Commander of the New Campus Construction, reported the preparation of the new campus construction in their company.
At the survey, Wen Deliang first introduced the progress of the new campus construction to Liu Kewu and his delegation. He stated that the construction of a new campus is a major event related to the development of JZMU, vital interest of teachers and students. It is the expectation and hope of everyone of JZMU, and an important foundation for the high-quality development of the university. At the same time, integrating the construction of the new campus of JZMU into the overall development of Jinzhou makes greater contribution to the high-quality development of the university and the construction of Jinzhou as a regional center city and to the new breakthroughs in the comprehensive revitalization of Liaoning Province.

The new campus is located in the Longqi Bay area of Jinzhou Development Zone, covering an area of 1277 acres.
