From November 11th to 12th, Jinzhou District Competition of 1st Provincial College Student First Aid Skill Competition, hosted by The Educational Department of Liaoning Province and JZMU, was held in JZMU.
The competition was divided into two parts: theoretical competition and practical competition in group. 25 universities from 9 cities, including Jinzhou, Benxi, Liaoyang, Anshan, Huludao, Chaoyang, Panjin, Fuxin, and Yingkou, sent 75 representative teams consisting of 200 undergraduates and junior college students. JZMU won the first prize in the medical group.
The competition has laid a solid foundation for popularizing first aid knowledge and skills, improving the self-rescue and mutual rescue abilities of college students, and fostering the awareness of participation in social welfare activities. It has effectively created a good social atmosphere for those who are ready to help, brave to help, and adept in rescue.
