From December 21st to 22nd, the China Education Association For International Exchange assigned a team of experts to conduct the on-site Accreditation for Basic Medical education for International Students (in English Medius) in China (BMEAIS).
During the two-day on-site review, the expert team interviewed the university leaders in charge of the international affairs, heads of functional departments, representatives of teachers and of international students and management personnel of School of International Education. They visited the First Clinical Medical School, School of International Education, the Clinical Skill Center and the Experimental Teaching Center to observe clinical teaching activities and experimental teaching and to consult the files of enrollment, teaching, management and internship of international students.
In accordance with the BMEAIS standards, The experts strictly conducted an objective and fair review of the quality of Basic Medical education for International Students (in English Medius) in China (BMEIS) in JZMU. Li Guoxia, on behalf of the expert group, provided preliminary feedback on the on-site review. She pointed out the highlights and characteristics of the JZMU’s education for international students studying in China, and also put forward relevant opinions and suggestions from 4 aspects, i.e. improving the quality of student sources, further enhancing the teaching ability of full-time teachers, improving teaching quality, and regulating clinical internships.
