On January 11th, Luo Wenbo, deputy director of Education Department of Liaoning Province, and his delegation went to JZMU to investigate the teaching activity, daily management, enrollment, and management of international students.
At the symposium, Vice president Sun Hongzhi reported the teaching and management work of international students from four aspects: basic information of the university, education of international students, daily management and service for students, the existing problems and future development.
After listening to the report, Luo Wenbo pointed out the goal and focus of this investigation in his speech. He stated that international student education in JZMU started early and has a good foundation. Orienting to the goal of international talent cultivation, JZMU has achieved success in the career for the international students education led with a high-quality teaching and managerial team by improving the teaching facilities and regulating the daily management. He hoped that the university would do a good job in international student education with high quality, and make new and greater contributions to the province to improve the level of education opening to the outside world, promote civilization exchanges and mutual understanding, and push forward the new breakthrough of comprehensive revitalization.
Luo Wenbo and his delegation also inspected the accommodation and classrooms for international students and had a discussion with international students of the university.
