On January 13th, JZMU held 2024 Spring Graduation and Degree Awarding Ceremony for international students. 99 students from 14 countries successfully graduated. A video showcasing the international students’ six years of study life at JZMU was played in the ceremony.
President Qu Wei, Chairman of the Degree Evaluation Committee, awarded degrees to the graduates and moved the tassels. Leaders of JZMU presented honor certificates to outstanding graduates and handed out graduation certificates to student representatives.
Binuo, a student from Cameroon, spoke fluently in Chinese as the student representative. She expressed that JZMU not only nurtured international students’ academic abilities but also allowed them to experience the profound Chinese culture through activities such as “Perceiving China” “Exploring Liaoning” and the International Culture Festival. In the future, graduates will remember the motto of "Cultivating Morality, Learning Skills, Benefiting the World” to inherit and carry forward the profound affection with Jinzhou Medical University and the spirit of great love of China.
In his speech, Qu Wei first congratulated the students on successfully completing their studies and embarking on a new chapter in life. He also expressed gratitude to the teachers who dedicated themselves to the growth and success of the students. He hoped that graduates would remember the expectations and hopes of their alma mater, and always keep their alma mater and China in their hearts.
