On April 18th, JZMU held the training session on undergraduate education review and evaluation. Professor Tang Man, Director of the Teaching Quality Monitoring and Evaluation Department of China Medical University, was invited to give a feature report. Vice-president Zhong Hongshan attended the session on-site. Heads from schools and functional departments as well as members of the review and evaluation teams of each school participated in the session in both on-line and off-line ways.
Professor Tang elaborated the core principles, guiding ideology, working principles and characteristics of the new-round review and evaluation with the theme “Closely following the main stream of review and evaluation to promote high-quality development of universities”. She also shared the key work should be done in the three stages of preparation, online evaluation, and on-site inspection based on the practical experience of review and evaluation work at China Medical University. An in-depth discussion on the report and the specific layout of JZMU’s evaluation work was conducted afterwards.
The session clarified the work plan for the undergraduate education review and evaluation coming soon in JZMU, and it played a supportive role in promoting the university’s undergraduate education and teaching to a new level.
