Recently, the Traditional Chinese Medicine Department of the First Clinical Medical School (The First Affiliated Hospital) of JZMU was approved for the national “Flagship” department construction project of Chinese and Western medicine collaboration. This is a breakthrough achieved by JZMU and the First Clinical Medical School in implementing the “Social Service Excellence Plan” and “Central City Assistance Project” in the coordinated development of traditional Chinese and Western medicine.
This construction project was driven by the Traditional Chinese Medicine Department of the JZMU Cancer Medical Center and collaborated with the Breast and Head and Neck Oncology Departments under the direction of “Collaborative Oncology Specialty of Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine”. With the support of the First Clinical Medical School, Professor Fu Xiao, Director of the Traditional Chinese Medicine Department, and Professor Zhai Zhenhua, Director of the Breast and Head and Neck Oncology Department, jointly applied and successfully obtained approval.
