Liu Hua, second-tier professor, doctoral supervisor, the director of Eye Disease Center of JZMU. She is rated as Innovation Talents of "Revitalizing Liaoning Talents Scheme" in Liaoning province, (also known as Liaoning distinguished professors) and the “Famous Doctor in Liaoning Province”. She is a member of the Eighth Committee of Medical Science Research Management Branch of Chinese Medical Association, a member of Cataract Bend Optical Group, a member of Laser Medical Association of the Chinese Optical Society and a representative of the 10th and the 11th National People’s Congress. She also serves as the vice-president of Liaoning Provincial Medical Association, the director of professional Committee of Liaoning Provincial Medical Association in charge of medical scientific research, the director of branch of ophthalmology of cataract led by Liaoning Provincial Medical Association and the director of the Liaoning Provincial key laboratory for the control of age-related macular degeneration.
Professor Liu was also the winner of the 6th "Chinese Physician Award". With her excellent medical skill, she is entitled to Special Government Allowance of the State Council and the medal winner of National May 1st Labor Day. As the "Bright Ambassador" of China, she used to lead the National Foreign Aid Bright Action Expert Group to cure patients in six countries, thus she received a commendation for National Initiative of helping the poor and the disabled. She twice won the honor of Excellent Worker by the National Health System as well.
