On May 19th, the 5th Ethnic Culture Festival was held in JZMU. Vice-president Zhang Lijuan, Hao Huisheng, Minister of United Front Work Office, Zhao Li, Minister of Publicity Office, teachers and students attended the event.
Zhang Lijuan stated in her speech that the 5thEthnic Culture Festival in our university is an important brand activity in ethnic education and fully demonstrated the high importance attached to ethnic work. Since 2018, JZMU regularly held ethnic culture festival, an essential platform for advocating the excellent culture of the Chinese nation each year, promoting ethnic unity and progress and creating a harmonious campus life. It fully displays the spirituality and vitality of our teachers and students.
A corridor of ethnic culture was built at the site, with areas for experiencing ethnic cuisine, ethnic clothing, handicrafts, musical instruments, handicraft DIY, knowledge Q&A, and game, creating an immersive interactive atmosphere for teachers and students deeply appreciating the vastness and profoundness of China’s splendid traditional culture by interaction and exchange of experiences.
